I'm Miranda, from Idaho. I'm a wife, step-mom, sister, daughter, auntie, friend, wine-lover, runner, work-out-freak, and a fanatic about doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do. I work with kids who have done terrible things and made terrible choices, and everyday I make myself realize that they, themselves, are not terrible kids.
I want to make a difference. I want kids to know they can make a difference in a positive manner.
I want parents to love their kids and show it by being good parents. I want kids to grow up in homes where they know their parents truly love them.
I'm a guitar player and a singer, but I don't sing karaoke.
I'm a runner and love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a long distance, but I don't run under 10:00/mile on most days. I've decided that it doesn't matter how fast I run as long as I get out there and try to accomplish a goal. I've realized that, like any day of the week, some runs will be terrible and other runs will be amazing, but I'm not going to stop running just because of a bad run, just like I'm not going to stop living just because I've had a bad day.
